GRINDAIX NOZZLES SURFACE GRINDING
COOLING With this special nozzle design, we were able to unite two important functions of lu-
bricoolant nozzles. On the one hand, this structure allows lubricoolant to be supplied
via Grindaix nozzles to the machining zone in a targeted way to achieve cooling; on
the other hand, the grinding wheel is cleaned by high-pressure nozzles. In the past,
this was only possible using two individual nozzles, which had to be connected and
supplied to. We were able to reduce this down to one feed line for supplying the enti-
re nozzle using only a single pump (centrifugal pump), thereby further increasing the
effectiveness compared to a conventional nozzle solution during surface grinding or
surface profile grinding.
