GRINDAIX NOZZLES PRODUCTION PROCEDURE
NOZZLE DATA
1 Sending geometry and process performance data
Fill out the Grindaix questionnaire.
Send us your process and machine information (process
data, machining geometry, lubricoolant supply, assembly
space data, special features, etc.) as well as the available
Pressure (bar) Volume flow vs. Lubricoolant exit speed Volume flow (l/min) pressure from the nozzle.
2
Offer and design proposal
Based on your individual requirements, we prepare a design
proposal for the coolant nozzles as well as a specific offer.
Pressure vs. Lubricoolant exit speed
3
Drawing review and approval by customer
You review our design proposal, release it for production and
place an order with us for the desired coolant nozzles.

and delivery of the nozzle package
NOZZLE DATA FOR We produce and assemble all components and send you the
ordered coolant nozzles, including the relevant nozzle
characteristic curve, by the agreed delivery date.

ACCESSORIES FOR GRINDAIX NOZZLES:
Grindaix nozzles are supplied together with a nozzle characteristic curve. The purpose of the nozzle diagram is to provide you
with initial assistance in implementing a suitable nozzle pressure and volume flow. The diagram shows the total pressure (static Wear protection plates Coolant Pointer
and dynamic) measured directly in front of the nozzle. This pressure does not correspond to your pump pressure or the pump
delivery height. Pressure losses in the supply line between pump and nozzle as well as the impact of any other lubricoolant Stabilisers Coolant Display
discharge on the same supply line are not taken into account. These factors can be recorded and evaluated in a COOLANT
AUDIT® offered by us (see “Services“ chapter). Only then can your system be designed to optimise consumption. Quick-change systems Coolant Controller
Based on the pressure, you can directly identify the corresponding lubricoolant exit speed. The grey straight line shows you the Air spoilers Coolant Monitoring Pad
relationship between the lubricoolant exit speed and the associated lubricoolant volume flow. We measure these characteristic
curves on more than 4 Grindaix test benches and measure both the jet pattern and the jet force at different nozzle distances. Pressure sensors Compressed air cleaning systems
